Fake Calls / SMS (Benazir Income support Program etc. )
- Fraudsters may already have some basic information about you (name, address, account details); don’t assume a caller is genuine because they may have these details.
- Fraudsters can use “call spoofing” to purposely falsify the telephone number relayed on your caller ID to show as a genuine bank phone number.
- If you are doubtful, don’t be afraid to end the call and refuse requests for information.
- Be Careful while receiving call especially if you are asked to provide any personal information
- Ensure the source of call SMS is authentic.
- Be vigilant and do not reply to or, click on a link from any email / SMS that you are not sure is genuine.
