Bank Alfalah is proud to contribute in financial inclusion through National Financial Literacy Program (NFLP). An initiative to create awareness of basic financial education for the general public. When NFLP-I was rolled out in Sep 2017 by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Bank Alfalah has been a leading contributor to serve the cause. Bank Alfalah conducted financial literacy awareness session reaching out to 7000 beneficiaries across rural and urban areas of the country.
Keeping in view the national importance of financial literacy and inclusion for the country, the NFLP Steering Committee, has decided to continue the program for next five (5) years as well. Bank Alfalah will continue to serve the cause NFLP-II. The program is now being funded through bank’s own resources.
In 2023, Bank Alfalah aims to reach over 7,000 beneficiaries across 26 cities, creating financial literacy, with a focus to address female population. We would also welcome NGO’s and community workers to partner with us to create financial awareness among unbanked community especially among females.
Bank Alfalah NFLP Target Areas: Karachi, Kornagi, Malir, Naushki, Panjgur, Sukkur, Multan, Bahawalnagar, D G Khan, Lahore, Narowal, Jhang, Bahawalpur, Khanewal, Sialkot, Jhleum, Mirpur (AJK), Chakwal, Mardan, Nowshera, Kohat, Bannu, Mianwali, Queeta and Okara.
