As per Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) instructions, effective March 31, 2021, it is mandatory to provide purpose of payment code for all cross-border SWIFT transfers coming in and out of Bahrain as per the code list provided by CBB. Kindly note that all payment instructions not containing the desired code will not be entertained.
