Pakistan Blind Cricket Team beat England Blind Cricket Team

 
History was created at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on 05-04-2010 when the audible cricket ball for the blind rattled for the first time.

Pakistan posted the massive total of 274 runs on the board for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Pakistan set the world record as it was the highest score for any team in T-20 International. Muhammad Fayaz and Amir Ishfaq hammered England bowlers around the ground. Muhammad Fayaz remained not out on 86 while Amir Ishfaq scored brilliant 84 runs.

In reply, England made only 173 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Luke Sugg scored not out 71 runs while G. Dean and Roy Turnhum scored 30 runs each.

Muhammad Idrees took two wickets while Zeeshan Abbasi, Muhammad Jamal and Anees Javed shared a wicket each. Pakistan won the match by 101 runs and Muhammad Fayaz was awarded the Man of the Match.

Mr. Waleed Bukhatar, the Chairman of Sharjah Cricket Council Development Committee was the Chief Guest of the occasion and distributed the prizes among the players.
